Audio Signal Studio

Load and play audio, visualize waveform and spectrum, calculate RMS/peak/zero crossings, trim and normalize, export WAV, generate tones and filter signals.

Browser-local: processed in this tab. Use files you own or have permission to analyze. Experimental outputs are not certified evidence.

01 · Load & listen

Decode audio supported by your browser; inspect channels, duration and sample rate.

02 · Waveform & spectrum

Waveform overview and averaged FFT magnitude spectrum.

Load audio for signal metrics.

03 · Trim & normalize

Choose a time interval, normalize peak level and export 16-bit PCM WAV.

No export yet.

04 · Signal utilities

Generate a tone, or apply a simple offline high-pass / low-pass filter.

Utilities require audio to be loaded for filtering.

06 · Spectrogram

Short-time Fourier transform (radix-2 FFT) with selectable window, scale and colour map. Click the image to read time, frequency and level.

Load audio in panel 01 (choose a file; decoding happens here), then Render.

07 · Loudness & signal analysis

ITU-R BS.1770 / EBU R128 integrated loudness (K-weighting, gating), loudness range, true peak, clipping, DC, stereo image, spectral shape and a pitch track (YIN).

Results appear here.

08 · Hidden data in audio (LSB)

Statistical checks on the 16-bit PCM least-significant bits, plus an LSB embed/extract tool for testing. Natural recordings often have noisy LSBs, so combine the signals; none is proof.

09 · Working audio & effects chain

Load the file from panel 01 (or generate audio in panel 10), stack effects with undo, preview and export 16-bit WAV.

No working audio yet.

10 · Generators & data over sound (tones · DTMF · FSK modem · Morse)

Every generator writes into the working audio above. Decoders read the working audio, so you can load a recording (panel 09) and decode it.
