Redmark Forge / P2P transfer

Send big. Share directly.

Torrent-style chunked transfers, peer discovery, QR handoff and automatic reconstruction. Choose one file; RedmarkShare handles the pieces.

BROWSER-BASED · NO ACCOUNT

↗ Send a file

Select one file and create a torrent-style share that another RedmarkShare peer can join.

Large files are processed as torrent pieces, not converted into one giant JavaScript buffer. Keep this tab open and the original file available while sharing.

↙ Receive a file

Scan the sender's QR or paste a RedmarkShare magnet link. Pieces are verified by the torrent protocol.

Camera scanning uses BarcodeDetector where available. If your browser doesn't support it, paste the magnet link below.

For files over 10 GB, use a Chromium-based browser with file-saving support and sufficient free disk space. RedmarkShare streams the received file to disk where the File System Access API is available; it avoids building a single giant Blob in memory.
⚙ Connection relay (TURN)Not set · direct connections only

If the receiver stays on "Finding peers…" or reports that the connection failed, the two devices cannot reach each other directly. This is common on mobile data, where carriers put phones behind shared NAT. A TURN relay forwards the encrypted WebRTC traffic between them. Providers such as Metered and Cloudflare offer free tiers. Add the relay on the sending device; adding it on the receiver as well gives the best chance. Details are saved only in this browser.

Same Wi-Fi on both devices usually works without a relay.
Important limits to understandBrowser peers use WebRTC and can connect to WebTorrent-compatible peers, not every conventional BitTorrent client. A public WebSocket tracker helps peers discover each other; it does not store the file. Both sides must stay online during the transfer. Network restrictions may prevent a direct connection, especially on mobile data; use the same Wi-Fi or a TURN relay. This first version does not promise resume after the page closes, and mobile browsers may impose storage or background-tab limits.
RedmarkShare is an experimental peer-to-peer transfer tool. Share only files you have permission to distribute.

⧉ Torrent toolkit

Create a standard .torrent and magnet link offline, inspect any .torrent or magnet, and verify a received file piece by piece against it. All hashing happens in this tab.

One file makes a single-file torrent; several make a multi-file torrent under the folder name below.
Create a torrent, or load one to inspect it.
Only BitTorrent v1 metadata is handled. Browser peers can only join WebTorrent-compatible swarms; the generated file is still a valid .torrent for any client.

▤ Pack & hash

Bundle several files into one ZIP before sharing, and compute checksums the receiver can compare.

Choose one or more files.
Hashing streams the file in 4 MiB slices, so large files do not fill memory.

◎ Connection check

See which kinds of network path this device can offer, and measure local WebRTC throughput.

Press a button.
If a configured TURN relay exists, it is included in the path check and a relay candidate proves it works.
